Who we are
Folk in Hull is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Our stated aims are to advance the education of the public in Hull and East Yorkshire in their understanding, knowledge, appreciation and development of both traditional and contemporary folk music and other associated art forms.
What we do
Our flagship event is the annual Hull Folk and Maritime Festival, but we organise numerous events throughout the year, from regular pub music and song sessions to our popular maritime concerts. Click here to find more information about the charity’s committee.
How you can help
Folk in Hull is run by a dedicated band of volunteers who rely on fundraising to be able to put on our events and bring the best folk and roots music to our city. All donations go towards future festivals and events, and we always welcome people who can help us in other ways such as stewarding.
